League Retrospective (Fall 2010)

So, my second league (Orange County Curling's third) is in the books.

Our last match was against one of the more experienced skips, and the game was extremely well matched.

We were playing one person short (again), which means only one person to sweep, and I got to throw more rocks.

Each end finished with a single point, with the 8th end finishing with a 4-4 tie.

We played a short tie-breaker end, and it stayed close -- but their final rock was a few millimeters closer to the button.

So I find myself writing the same comment for this finals as we had last time -- we lost, but I'm going to remember this game for a while.
